Musselburgh School has a wide range of sports teams, with a physical education programme aimed to provide skills, enjoyment and a healthy attitude. This includes swimming and aquatic lessons at Moana Pool.
Musselburgh School provides a Perceptual Motor Programme (PMP) for junior children. Play as the way is also being used as a tool to build social and emotional skills.
Musselburgh School has a choir, a marimba band and an instrumental music programme which promotes the ukulele.
